It primarily focuses on analyzing, applying, implementing and improving existing and emerging technologies and is aimed at the application of engineering principles and the implementation of technological advances for the benefit of humanity. EMITTER follows the open access policy that allows the published articles freely access. - Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya
The Electronic Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya (EEPIS) or known locally as Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya (PENS) is a technical institution located in Indonesia. It serves its community by conducting research to resolve industrial and community problems.
The institute was founded with the support and assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), who sent a team in 1985 to assess the need for aid. Lead by Prof. Y. Naito from Tokyo Institute of Technology, the team conducted an initial assessment to the area that resulting agreement for the development of the campus.
PENS offers two degrees, Diploma-III is a three-year degree course, while Diploma-IV is a four-year course. The Diploma-III graduates will hold associate degree and Diploma-IV graduates will be granted with bachelor of applied science. Since 2015, PENS offers Applied Magister Degree program with two-year degree course.
- Digital Communication Laboratory - PENS
This lab belongs to Electrical Engineering Departement. It serves some activities of Telecommunication Study Program such as practices, researches and trainings, especially on Telecommunication Network and its applications.
Some practices for Diploma 4 and 3 degree students consist of:
- Coding System practice
- Workshop on Telecommunication Network
- Workshop on Basic Telecommunication Network
- Wireless Network practice
